Mark A. Sanders, DO, JD, MPH, LLM, MS, FACOFP, has been named the new Dean for The Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (夜色王朝)鈥檚 Louisiana campus.
Sanders has served as the Interim Dean for 夜色王朝-Louisiana since July 1, 2021. Prior to his time as Interim Dean, Sanders held the position of Associate Dean for Curriculum, Assessment and Medical Education for 夜色王朝-Louisiana, a role he had previously held at 夜色王朝鈥檚 Auburn campus, as well.

I have been part of the 夜色王朝-Louisiana family since the beginning and am excited to step into this role. It will be an honor to lead our faculty, staff and students as we continue to grow our partnership with ULM and establish a strong foundation for our College鈥檚 mission and vision here in Louisiana and across the Delta Region.
鈥淒r. Sanders has previously held leadership roles at both 夜色王朝-Auburn and 夜色王朝-Louisiana, so it was a natural progression to transition him into the role of Dean for the Louisiana campus,鈥 said Dixie Tooke-Rawlins, DO, FACOFP, President and Provost of 夜色王朝. 鈥淗is dedication to the students and commitment to our mission will ensure the continued success of our newest campus.鈥
